Adam Gerber | profile
Adam Gerber has spent 20 years at Lake Forest Academy working with international students, first as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor, and currently as Director of International Admission in the Admission Office. He has lived and worked in Hungary, Kenya, and Japan, and is eager not only to help international students and parents through the application process, but also to support them as members of the LFA community.
Adam has coached basketball, golf, football, track, and wrestling, and he is currently the head badminton coach. As Director of Student Activities, he helped establish the LFA House System, and as Director of Service Learning, he helped establish LFA's Service Learning Program. He has led student service trips to Louisiana and Kenya. Adam is a dorm parent and lives on campus with his two children.
Suzy Vaughn | profile
Suzy Vaughn is a History instructor at LFA. She has a masters degree in Liberal Studies from Northwestern University and a bachelors degree in American Studies from Trinity College (Connecticut). Suzy joined the LFA community in 1996 after a year as a teaching intern at the Emma Willard School. Suzy is a badminton coach and the dorm head in Ferry Hall. She lives there with her husband (and fellow teacher) and their daughter Clare.
