“Tricksters” is LFA’s first student-written winter musical. Inspired by the school motto “Midwestern Heart Global Mind”, it spins a tale about mythological Tricksters from across the globe and throughout history - thrust into a contemporary American high school. As a cosmic scheme plays out, the Tricksters and the earthly students will be forced to evaluate their assumptions about love, life, trust, self-image and more. The score features student composed electronic music as well as recognizable pop, rock, and classical tunes.
Performances take place in-person in The Cressey Center for the Arts, Wednesday, February 9, Thursday, February 10, Friday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday February 12 at 2:00 p.m.
