2021 National Hispanic Recognition Scholars, Angie, Bela and Mariana

Angie Cotton ’22, Isabela De Jesús ’22, and Mariana Quiroz ’22 were named National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars by the College Board based on their remarkable academic achievements and outstanding performance on the PSAT and/or AP.

Initiated in 1983 by the College Board, the National Hispanic Recognition Program identifies outstanding Hispanic high school students and shares information about these academically well-prepared students with subscribing colleges and universities.

According to the College Board, “More than 80,000 students from all 50 states were eligible to join the College Board National Recognition Programs, which grant students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications. Colleges and scholarship programs identify students awarded National African American, Hispanic, Indigenous and/or Rural/Small Town Recognition through College Board’s Student Search Service.”

Congratulations, Angie, Isabela, and Mariana!
