Instagram Takeover: Tanya Ganesh ’24 at Carnegie Hall

In early July, Lake Forest Academy’s Tanya Ganesh ’24 traveled to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall. The stop at one of the most famous performing arts facilities in the world followed her earning the Grand Award in the 4th Apex International Music Competition and is one of many honors that Ganesh has earned for her oboe performances.

Among the many honors listed below, Ganesh was also ranked 35th among the top 50 musicians by the London Young Musician Competition for 2022-23.

The July trip was the first of three scheduled appearances for Ganesh this year at Carnegie Hall. She is also scheduled to play on Dec. 22 and 23 following her achievements in the American Virtuoso International Music Competition and the American Protege International Concerto Competition.
