Natasha Sokhi ’21 was recently published in the highly respected literary magazine, US1 Worksheets. Natasha’s poem, “Living with My Grandparents,” was one of 101 poems included in the edition. Some of the other poets selected for publication in this edition include Biennial Dodge Foundation Poetry Series founder, Scott McVay, former Frost Place (Franconia Notch, NH) teaching faculty member, Luray Gross, and Dodge Poet, Robert Carnevale. Truly, Natasha's name and poetry now sit in distinguished company.
Natasha’s poem was written for her Department of English Capstone Project, DECAP, in Ms. Kerri McCaffrey’s Senior Composition and the Writer's Workshop course as part of the class’ poetry unit.
She is currently a freshman at the University of Chicago.
