Paul Howell joined the Lake Forest Academy IT Department in September of 2020. Paul has a B.A. in English Literature from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. Originally from Tinley Park Illinois, Paul relocated back to Illinois from New Mexico where he worked in the IT department for the Santa Fe Indian School as well as the regional non-profit organization CPLC (Chicanos Por La Causa). He currently resides in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago with his 5-year-old white Labrador named, Piper.
Where did you grow up?
I'm originally from Tinley Park, Illinois.
Where did you go to college and or grad school?
I got my B.A. in English Literature from Northern Illinois University and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. I switched to IT from education in 2011 and have had several different positions within IT over the years depending on what organizations needed the most.
What has your career path looked like?
Prior to LFA, I was with a non-profit called CPLC in New Mexico.
What attracted you to LFA?
The opportunity to work with a wide scope of technology.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
My bed. I love bed! I visit as often as I can.

I have a 5-year-old Labrador named Piper with whom I am OBSESSED with.
