On Saturday, February 25, LFA’s Math Team competed at Niles West High School, where they earned second place at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) regional competition.
LFA competes in the division for schools that have between 400 and 1,099 students, which includes five regional schools and 44 statewide. After the second-place finish at regionals, LFA’s team is currently ranked second in the state within their division. The team will travel to the ICTM state competition, which will take place on April 22 at Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal, Ill.
