Lake Forest Academy's Davin Lee ’26 recently performed at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. The clarinet player was selected as a American Protégé International Woodwinds and Brass Competition winner and performed at Carnegie Hall with the other honorees during Thanksgiving break.
In addition to Lee’s performance, orchestra students from Lake Forest Academy recently performed with the Midwest Young Artists (MYA) Youth Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Orchestra Combo. MYA is a highly competitive youth conservatory on the North Shore and members must audition to be accepted. Lake Forest Academy has seven members in the Orchestra and one in the Jazz Orchestra. The very best musicians from the Chicago area participate in the MYA Youth Orchestra or in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra.
