A Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 Scholarship has been awarded to Emily Hawkins of Lake Forest. Each year, a number Lake Forest American Legion McKinlock Post 264 scholarships are available for high school students in good standing from zip codes 60045 & 60044. Emily is the first student from Lake Forest Academy to be awarded Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 Scholarship in recent years.
Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 seeks applications from students who demonstrate patriotism and good citizenship through participation in patriotic observances, community service, and other activities such as scouting, school extracurriculars, and Legion baseball.
