Lake Forest Academy’s Matt Boresi was recently honored by OPERA America as a winner of the inaugural Awards for Digital Excellence in Opera. Boresi’s comic opera "Verdi by Vegetables" won the Award for Digital Excellence in the Education/Enrichment Material category.
The opera was produced by Pittsburgh's Resonance Works and featured nearly 100 puppets made of fresh produce and 40 singers performing selections from all the works of Giuseppe Verdi and describing his life and times.
