Following an Independent School League championship for varsity boys soccer, members of the team were recently honored by the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) and the Independent School League (ISL).

Nick Lubaev ’23 was named the ISL Player of the Year and a member of the league’s first team in addition to the IHSSCA All-Section First Team. He was joined on the ISL First Team by Pierce Chaseley ’23, Franco Sovero ’24 and Bogi Milosevic ’26 while Evan Haldar ’24 and Matthew Kupczyk ’24 picked up ISL Second Team honors.

Other IHSSCA honors include Chaseley and Milosevic earning All-Section Honorable Mention recognition. Chaseley was also an Academic All-Section honoree and Jordan Sebolt ’23 was named the winner of the All-Section Senior Sportsmanship Award.
