boys golf team celebrates conference championship win

For the second straight year, the boys golf team captured the ISL Championships at Harborside International Golf Center. The Caxys not only bested the competition, they also took on the weather as the event was cut short for some of the field and it was determined that LFA’s lead was too much to overcome and the tournament was finalized with LFA in first place. In addition to the team winning the title, four Caxys were named to the ISL’s All-Conference team for finishing in the top 10. Fitz Knight ‘27 and Nick Heise ‘25 were able to complete their round and finished in a group in third place with rounds of 75 while Christian Martinez ‘25 was at +6 to finish in eighth and Trevor Reenan ‘25 finished in a tie for 10th at +8 before the tournament was suspended. Louie Raines ‘27 was one shot back at +9 in a group in 13th place and Ford Sweet ‘25 was at +12 to finish in 21st place. The Caxys won the ISL title with a team score of +20 ahead of University High at +26 and North Shore Country Day at +37.
