Alumni Awards
The Lake Forest Academy Alumni Awards celebrate alumni whose accomplishments, leadership, and service reflect the values that have long shaped the LFA community.
Through the Alumni Awards program, LFA recognizes alumni who have made meaningful contributions in their professions, communities, and beyond. From career achievement to lifelong learning, civic engagement, and service to others, these awards celebrate the many ways LFA alumni make an impact.
Award Categories
The LFA Alumni Awards recognize alumni across a range of accomplishments, leadership, service, and contributions to their communities. Awards for every category are not necessarily given each year.
Character Award
Recognizes alumni who demonstrate integrity, ethical leadership, compassion, and respect for others.
Scholarship Award
Recognizes alumni who exemplify intellectual curiosity, innovation, achievement, and lifelong learning.
Citizenship Award
Recognizes alumni who demonstrate community leadership, civic engagement, service, and global awareness.
Responsibility Award
Recognizes alumni who exemplify accountability, leadership, collaboration, and stewardship.
Rising Alumni Award
Recognizes a recent graduate whose accomplishments and leadership reflect the future of the LFA alumni community.
Nominate an LFA/Ferry Hall Alum
Know an alum who deserves to be recognized? We invite members of the LFA and Ferry Hall community to nominate alumni whose accomplishments, leadership, character, scholarship, citizenship, or responsibility reflect the values celebrated through the Alumni Awards.
Nominations are reviewed by the Alumni Awards Committee, which makes recommendations for recognition to the Academy.
Alumni Awards Committee
The Alumni Awards Committee supports the development and implementation of LFA's alumni recognition program. Committee members help review nominations, identify deserving alumni, and recommend honorees whose achievements and contributions reflect the values celebrated through the Alumni Awards.
