Do you have any pets?
I have a long-haired, miniature dachshund named Izzy. She loves going on walks around campus and getting belly rubs from as many students and faculty as she can.

What is your favorite thing to do in the area?
I enjoy taking my dogs to the local dog parks in the area. We have a pretty good selection of parks on the north shore. I can almost guarantee you that I’ve been to every possible dog park in the area at least once.

Where is your favorite spot on campus?
I have the honor of working in Reid Hall, the 100+-year-old mansion on campus, and I have the privilege of being able to walk to that building every morning. ...

What is your favorite thing to do in the area?
We love going into Chicago for different sports events, especially Blackhawks and Bears games.

What is a little known fact about you?
I worked as a news anchor at NBC for several years before I decided to follow my heart and become a full-time elementary school teacher. I come from a family of strong educators.

What is your favorite spot on campus?
The Garden Room in Reid Hall is welcoming in all seasons because you get to look out across the Formal Gardens. I love attending the various events held there throughout the year.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
The ability to fly at supersonic speeds! This way I could go visit my family in Italy for dinner or my kids in college for a quick espresso break. I would bring my pups with me of course!

What is one LFA class you want to take?
I would take Forensic Science! That’s another career I thought about growing up and the class seems so interesting!
