Head Coach: David Wick | profile
David M. Wick, instructor of Latin and English, has been teaching and coaching at LFA since 1981. A former chair of the Department of Classical and Modern Languages, he holds a B.A. in Classics from Grinnell College and an M.A. in Latin from the University of Illinois (Urbana). His residential duties include working in the library and structured study hall. David coaches the jujitsu/judo program.
Assistant Coach: Robin Bowkett | profile
Robin Bowkett begins his fifth year working in the admissions office at Lake Forest Academy. He works closely with both day and boarding student and their families through the admissions process and is also the admissions liaison for athletics. Robin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Nichols College in Dudley, MA and is currently getting his Masters in Coaching Education from Ohio University. Robin is also the head football coach here at LFA and is an assistant baseball coach in the spring. The football team continues to play in the competitive Chicago Catholic League. Prior to coming to LFA, Robin worked at Saint Anselm College and Salve Regina University within their football programs.
In addition to his coaching duties, Robin serves on the Multicultural Affairs Committee and is the Parade Organizer. Robin lives in Atlass Dorm with his wife Beth and their two girls Stella (4) and Nora (1). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and riding his mountain bike.
Assistant Coach: Steve Rebarchak | profile
Steve Rebarchak is in his second season with Lake Forest Academy. He has run multiple feeder and travel teams and been a private hitting tutor for many years. He graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. In Political Science. At Davidson, he was a student assistant for the Division 1 baseball program, and focused on scouting opposition hitters.
Steve was raised in Lake Forest. He develops and brokers Hunter/Jumper horses and ponies.
