While things seem to be getting through at the moment, if you think that your email has not been received, you may wish to re-send the email or contact the individual by phone or text to confirm. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will post a follow up message here when we have confirmation that the issue has been completely resolved. Thank you for your patience!

Acclaimed Author Sherman Alexie Comes to LFA
We have a rare opportunity just for the LFA Community—students, faculty, alumni, and parents—a lecture, Q & A session, and book signing with nationally acclaimed author Sherman Alexie
. (Books will be available for purchase.) You are welcome to join us on September 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cressey Center for the Arts. More than 75% of the current students will read his work this fall through the Freshman and Sophomore English classes, and the AP English Literature and Composition course.
Department Chair Ann Frkovich notes, “These are life- changing and meaningful connections for students to make. This is also one of the few occasions when we’ve had a Native American author speak at LFA. Because we are committed to having diverse voices at LFA, we are thrilled about him coming here. It is a real treat.” This opportunity is possible through LFA’s ongoing collaboration with the Ragdale Foundation, an artists’ community located in Lake Forest.
